The Origin
We didn’t start element because the world needed another HR consultancy.
element was built around a simple belief: most growing businesses do not suffer from “HR problems.” They suffer from the absence of the organisational infrastructure required to scale. Behind delayed hiring, inconsistent performance, founder dependency, employee issues, weak accountability, rising talent costs, and compliance exposure sits a more serious challenge — the business has outgrown its people systems, but has not yet built the structure, discipline, and leadership capability required for the next stage. After more than a decade across consulting firms and in-house HR roles in the UAE, India, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, the same pattern became impossible to ignore: strategy was presented, documents were delivered, workshops were run, and yet very little changed. The model looked right on paper, but the business kept operating the same way. The people expected to carry the change forward had not helped build it, did not fully own it, and were left to interpret it after the consultants had gone. So we built element differently. We stay long enough to make the work real. We embed inside the business. We work alongside leadership and managers. We help design the structure, build the systems, codify the policies, hire critical talent, and drive implementation until the model works without us. Because the real job is not to recommend a better organisation. The real job is to help build one. Every engagement ends with a full hand-back, a final walk of the floor, and an open line back to us if anything falters. That is how we work. That is why element exists. And that is a standard we will not dilute for growth.
